Yearly, FATE awards individual scholarships through a competitive process to students enrolled in the Foundation-sponsored programs. Students apply the scholarship funds toward additional training at a variety of postsecondary educational facilities.

Who’s Eligible?    Current seniors who are taking or have taken:
          Automotive Collision
          Automotive Technology
          Construction Technologies
          Electrical Construction and Engineering


Scholarship awards are between $1,000 and $5,000 each


Before accessing your scholarship application, please collect all the required information as follows;

  • Basic student/parent biographical information (annual family income, ages of siblings)
  • Academic information - cumulative GPA
  • List volunteer and /or prior work experiences (jobs)
  • Extracurricular activities by name/year of participation (i.e. club memberships, leadership positions, awards/honors)
  • Scholarship needs (additional information on your education/experience/achievement which reviewers should consider)
  • Describe in paragraph form your career plans and goals
  • Resume and Letters of Recommendation (attachable in PDF format)



Sponsor organizations have provided funding for students who are graduating high school and going directly into the industry and need an initial set of tools to perform their jobs.  Students enrolled in the following Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are eligible; carpentry, electrical construction and engineering, HVACR, and construction technologies.

  • Description of how the tools will benefit you in your chosen career
  • List volunteer and /or prior work experiences (jobs)
